東芝HDD MD04ACA200を一年使ってみて (2016/04/09) [家庭内サーバ]
だいたい1年ぐらい前に東芝製のハードディスクに交換しました。今日もとても安定して動いています。smartctlの結果はこんな感じ。何も不満はありません。
交換したのはその前のサムスン製が最悪だったし、しかも壊れたから。それでも数年はもってくれましたが、“UDMA_CRC_Error_Count ”が導入当初から桁溢れするんじゃないかってぐらいの勢いで激しく増えていき、不安を覚えたものです。(2台買って2台ともなので、仕様かと)
また、サムスン製はSATAのNative Command Queuingを有効にすると、高負荷時にカーネルパニックが発生するという持病持ちでもありました。
